What is FaceTite™ Skin Tightening?

Have you noticed sagging skin or excess fat on your neck, cheeks, or jawline? FaceTite by InMode is a skin tightening and fat reduction procedure for men and women that addresses sagging skin, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. If you’re looking to lift and contour with a minimally invasive approach, FaceTite could be a good fit for you. FaceTite can restore, firm, contour, and smooth parts of the face for a more toned or youthful appearance.

What does FaceTite address?

FaceTite is mainly used to address concerns on the lower half of the face such as the chin, cheeks, and jawline. This is often where patients will notice sagging or a loss of elasticity over time. Common concerns that can be treated with FaceTite include: jowls, lost definition along the jawline, excess fat or fullness under the chin, or loose, wrinkled skin along the neck.

Why try FaceTite?

As we get older, our skin undergoes a natural decrease in collagen and elastin, which can cause wrinkled skin, jowls, or other visual effects caused by sagging skin. If you’re noticing sagging skin under your chin, loose pockets of fat that change the appearance of your face, or other signs of aging, FaceTite could help.

How does FaceTite work?

FaceTite technology works to tighten skin and stimulate collagen production with the use of radiofrequency energy (RF). These waves help tighten the skin and activate the toning, smoothing effects of collagen formation and production.

What can I expect before and during the FaceTite procedure?

A consultation is the first step. Before your FaceTite procedure, you’ll  talk about your goals, concerns, and an outline of the treatment itself.

During treatment, local anesthesia is applied to begin, and a small incision is made to allow the insertion of a thin probe (radiofrequency device) that liquifies fat cells and triggers collagen production. The FaceTite applicator delivers focused radiofrequency (RF) energy to both the skin’s surface and the underlying tissue. We often combine liposuction with this process, in which a thin suctioning device will remove the liquified fat as part of the procedure.

Does FaceTite require surgery?

No, FaceTite itself does not require surgery, though it may be combined with liposuction to remove excess fat. here with us, liposuction and FaceTite are generally combined as a joint treatment to maximize results.

FaceTite alone is a non-surgical procedure, so the downtime is less than that of a surgical or invasive procedure. The treatment does require some small, strategically-made incisions to effectively administer radiofrequency waves. We’ll show you the details and walk you through how everything works in your initial consultation with us.

What are the benefits of FaceTite?

Our  patients love that FaceTite is a minimally invasive, non-surgical, quick recovery solution for sagging skin or problem areas.

What is FaceTite recovery like?

Since FaceTite is a non-surgical and minimally invasive procedure, it doesn’t require the long recovery times that a traditional facelift does. It’s normal to notice some bruising, swelling, or discomfort following the procedure.

Most people are back to their regular schedules after a few days. You may be supplied with a compression garment to aid in healing, to support your skin as it recovers and as the treatment takes effect. You should arrange for someone to pick you up after the procedure.

What will my FaceTite results look like?

Your results will depend on the nuances of your treatment, but should be visible within several months. Since collagen production is triggered during treatment, benefits such as smoother, tighter skin may become visible in as little as a few days.

Is FaceTite right for me?

The best candidates for FaceTite are looking for a solution for mild sagging on the lower face, or fullness caused by excess fat. Women and men who have more dramatic wrinkles, folds, or sagging skin might wish to explore other treatments or procedures, or may be better suited to a traditional facelift. We’re here to discuss your options with you to find the best solution for your needs, concerns, and goals.

FaceTite vs. a Surgical Facelift

A surgical facelift gives your surgeon the ability to more dramatically resolve concerns about loose skin, folds, or lax tissue that has lost its elasticity. This surgery elevates and lifts the supporting structures of the skin to improve the appearance of the face.

During a facelift, incisions are made in the ear and hairline area to lift and tighten.  Surgery is a greater time commitment and involves longer recovery and more discomfort than a FaceTite procedure, which is minimally invasive. If you’re not sure which procedure is right for you, meet us for a consultation!

Our patients love discussing their needs with us because we are a patient-centric clinic. We’re more concerned with finding you the right treatment that effectively meets your goals than we are with making money, and that’s what sets us apart. Let us help you navigate the decision-making process, and learn why our patients trust us with their care –– both surgically and with cosmetic, non-invasive procedures.
